Jessica Goldberg litigates complex business disputes on behalf of financial services companies and develops and executes litigation strategies. She concentrates her practice in regulatory and compliance counseling, risk management, loan origination and servicing, and violations of consumer protection.

Prior to joining Hinshaw, Jessica served as a federal law clerk to the Honorable Lisette M. Reid at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. During her time as a federal law clerk she refined her ability to draft complicated legal memoranda involving statutes, regulations, and case law. Before her federal clerkship, she clerked for the Honorable Migna Sanchez-Llorens at the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court in Miami-Dade County, Civil and Family Divisions.

During her time in law school, Jessica gained considerable experience through the Children & Youth Law Clinic and Innocence Clinic, several positions with private law firms, and internships with the Queens Legal Aid Society, Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office, and Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office.

During her free time, Jessica enjoys hiking and spending time with her family and two dogs.
