Israel Del Mundo counsels clients on business and commercial transactions centered on mergers, acquisitions, real estate, finance, and lending. He also assists with entity formation, corporate governance, and bankruptcy issues.

In addition to his transactional practice, Israel represents mortgage lenders in financial services litigation.

Prior to joining Hinshaw as an associate, Israel was a law clerk with the firm. He was also a legal intern at a global financial services and investments company.

During law school, Israel served as a student lawyer in the DePaul Business Law Clinic. He advised business entities on contract drafting and negotiation, entity formation and dissolution, employment law, and intellectual property. He was also a research assistant in tax law to Professor Emily Cauble. In addition, Israel served as an associate editor of the DePaul Law Review and president of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association. He also served on the Student Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, where he assisted in creating and implementing law school policies and programs in furtherance of diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Israel is an avid fragrance collector. With a collection of nearly 100 fragrances, Israel is fascinated by the artistic process of translating memories and emotions into scent.
