Charles De La Cruz represents clients in civil litigation, focusing on the defense of personal injury, property damage, and healthcare services matters. Charles partners with his clients to ensure they are well-informed and provides simple, tailored solutions to their complex legal problems.
A substantial part of his practice focuses on issues involving long-term care across skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities, retirement communities, and home health agencies. Moreover, Charles routinely defends long-term care facilities in administrative matters against the Illinois Department of Public Health and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
Before joining Hinshaw, Charles practiced law at a Chicago-based firm where he focused on the defense of commercial, construction, product liability, and transportation claims.
