Madeline O'Mara

Madeline O’Mara focuses her practice on defending clients in the aging services sector, including home service providers, and long-term care, assisted living, skilled nursing, and sheltered care facilities.

Madeline is committed to providing salient solutions that best suit clients’ goals and interests. She routinely defends long-term care facilities in administrative matters against the Illinois Department of Public Health and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. In her practice, Madeline has been involved in all phases of litigation and has prepared, argued, and won numerous motions at the trial court level, including dispositive motions.

In addition to her academic accomplishments—including earning a Health Law Certificate—Madeline served as a student attorney with the Loyola Health Justice Project during law school and worked with Chicago’s underserved communities on a number of pro bono matters. She was also a senior articles editor for the Loyola University School of Law Journal and assisted in teaching legal writing to first-year law students.
