Hinshaw Announces Election of 15 New Partners In Ten U.S. Offices

U.S. law firm Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce the election of 15 attorneys as new partners, effective January 1, 2022. The new partners are based in ten Hinshaw offices across the country and represent a wide range of practice areas.

Daniel Conte (Insurance Services)
Daniel represents insurance companies in complex insurance coverage litigation matters involving duties to defend, property damage and bodily injury claims, allegations of bad faith and unfair settlement practices, and risk management techniques. He also specializes in the defense of professionals and businesses in malpractice litigation and disciplinary proceedings. Daniel regularly represents registered investment advisers and broker-dealers in both litigation and the FINRA arbitration forum arising out of allegations of sales practice violations, improper investment advice, securities fraud and similar issues.

Chicago

Michael Adams (Personal Injury & Property Damage)
Michael represents clients in complex matters involving product liability, commercial disputes, construction litigation, and high-value claims for personal injuries and damage to property. His experience ranges from business disputes to breach of contract and warranty, to conversion, fraud, and wrongful repossession of collateral.

Thaddeus Harrell (Labor & Employment)
Thaddeus provides representation in disputes on all aspects of the employment relationship, spanning from hire through termination, disability considerations, misclassification issues, employee misconduct, and other disciplinary matters.

Connie Mayer (Commercial Transactions)
Connie Mayer helps lenders and borrowers navigate a variety of business and commercial transactions. She works with her clients to achieve their objectives while efficiently completing transactions. Connie represents commercial lending institutions and entities of all sizes, forming connections with each client in order to learn how to best serve their individual needs. Armed with diverse experience and knowledge, whether it is a merger, acquisition, corporate governance issue, lending question, or matter related to Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOP), Connie is equipped to assist.

Kellie Mazzarella (Personal Injury & Property Damage)
Kellie defends physicians, corporations, and health care institutions, including hospitals and nursing homes in civil litigation cases involving malpractice.

Ft. Lauderdale

Jenelle La Chuisa (Insurance Services)
Jenelle represents clients in international and domestic disputes involving insurance coverage, first-party property insurance, business contracts, and alleged fraud and conspiracy. She has litigated coverage disputes arising out of property, casualty, professional liability and builder's risk policies. An arbitrator and advocate for clients in arbitration, she advises on best practices for dispute resolution provisions and arbitration agreements.

Logan Haine-Roberts (Insurance Services)
Logan Haine-Roberts represents clients in commercial insurance coverage litigation and advises  on matters involving bad faith.

Peter Hernandez (Financial Services)
Peter defends financial institutions in litigation involving the FDCPA, TCPA, Electronic Funds Transfer Act, Florida Consumer Collection Practices Act, and Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act. He also helps clients with regulatory compliance. Peter previously served as assistant counsel for a global credit card company.
