André Sesler is a civil litigation lawyer who focuses his practice on advising insurance companies and their policyholders on coverage and claim-related issues. This includes defending and counseling carriers in first-party and third-party bad faith and extra-contractual claims and litigation. André is involved in all phases of litigation and ensures his clients are informed throughout the process.

André's extensive litigation experience further includes professional liability, product liability, health care, and general liability defense. He also counsels clients facing claims of negligence, strict liability, wrongful death, and premises liability.

André's legal career spans over a decade in commercial, business, and insurance matters. Prior to joining Hinshaw, he spent several years in the Tampa office of a Tallahassee-based firm. While there, he bolstered his insurance litigation experience and was appointed a partner and eventually a member of the firm's Shareholder Committee.

During law school, André served as Chapter President of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. In addition to clerking in the South Florida offices of a Florida-based firm, he was a summer federal judicial extern in Tampa for the Honorable Elizabeth Kovachevich, Chief Judge in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
