Jenelle E. La Chuisa

As a litigator and arbitrator, Jenelle represents individuals and companies in international and domestic business, insurance coverage, and bad faith disputes. Her practice covers more than two decades of handling business contracts, business torts, fraud, and conspiracy disputes, including the enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitration awards. She advocates for insurers, managing cases ranging from complex coverage disputes and first-party commercial property claims to bad faith issues arising out of commercial general liability, property, professional liability, aviation, marine, and builders risk policies. Jenelle delivers practical solutions to the intricate business challenges her clients face.

Jenelle co-chairs Hinshaw's Pro Bono and Community Involvement Committee in Ft. Lauderdale, overseeing volunteer opportunities for pro bono projects and community events. She serves on the Board of Directors for Legal Aid Service of Broward County. In recognition of her pro bono advocacy, she received the Florida Bar President’s Pro Bono Service Award for the 17th Judicial Circuit, the 2024 Russell E. Carlisle Advocacy Award, the Daily Business Review 2025 Florida Legal Award for ESG Impact, and the John Edward Smith Pro Bono Award for Child Advocacy.

Prior to joining Hinshaw, Jenelle broadened her litigation and arbitration experience with firms throughout Florida, including her solo practice, La Chuisa Law.
