New York City, New York
Hinshaw partner Jenelle La Chuisa will participate in a panel titled "Can Insurance Protect Us? A U.S. and Canadian Perspective" at the Annual Lavender Law Conference & Career Fair on July 29, 2025, in New York City.
Insurance is vital across many sectors, including health and property. With current challenges to diversity and inclusion initiatives, how can insurance in Canada and the U.S. support marginalized groups? This workshop will explore how to draft policies that cover discrimination claims, particularly in employment practices liability (EPL) and human rights. The panel includes insights from in-house, brokerage, and law firm roles within the insurance industry.
