Experienced Real Estate Lawyer Joins Hinshaw's Commercial Transactions Group in Minneapolis

The U.S. law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce that Matthew J. Schneider has joined the firm's commercial transactions group as an attorney in the Minneapolis office. Schneider will focus his practice on corporate transactions and commercial real estate.

Prior to joining Hinshaw, Schneider served as assistant general counsel for a national specialty retailer with more than one thousand stores and annual sales exceeding one billion dollars. He has extensive experience assisting clients accomplish their goals in all aspects of the commercial and residential real estate process, including acquisitions, sales and dispositions, leasing and mortgage lending. He also represents clients in a variety of general corporate matters, municipal finance transactions, and mezzanine and asset-based lending transactions.

Schneider is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School (J.D., cum laude), Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota (M.B.A.), and the University of Minnesota at Minneapolis (B.A.). He is admitted to practice in Michigan and Minnesota. He is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, the State Bar of Michigan and is a Minnesota State Bar Association Certified Specialist in Real Property Law.
