Veteran Life, Health, Disability & ERISA Litigation Attorney Stephanie Segalini Joins Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP in Tampa

The national law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce that litigation attorney Stephanie Segalini has joined the firm as partner in the Tampa office.

In 2015, Hinshaw bolstered its LHD&E Litigation Practice in Florida when it brought on Mark Greenberg and Leonor Lagomasino, veterans in the field who joined the firm in the Miami office from Carlton Fields Jorden Burt, P.A.

Added Hinshaw partner Steven Lehner — an accomplished member of the firm's Commercial Litigation Practice in the Tampa office — "Many of our LHD&E Litigation Practice's clients have a large amount of litigation in state and federal courts in Florida. Ms. Segalini joins Hinshaw from Jackson Lewis P.C., where she was a principal in that firm's Orlando, Florida office. Before that she was for 11 years with Akerman LLP. Ms. Segalini focuses her practice on employee benefits litigation and class actions, including coverage, breach of fiduciary duty, statutory penalty, and benefit claims. She has particular experience with ERISA claims. Ms. Segalini has served as senior advisor and lead counsel on dispute resolution issues to some of the nation's largest insurance carriers, employers, employer-sponsored benefit plans, claims administrators, third-party administrators, plan administrators and broker groups. She also provides dispute resolution services in both pre-suit administrative proceedings and in state and federal litigation. Ms. Segalini earned her J.D. (1996) from University of Miami School of Law and her B.A. (1993), with honors, from Emory University.
