Veteran Life, Health and Disability Insurance Litigation Attorneys Mark Greenberg and Leonor Lagomasino Join Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP in Miami

Coral Gables, FL — The national law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce that veteran life, health and disability insurance litigation attorneys Mark Greenberg and Leonor Lagomasino have joined the firm as partners in the Miami office. Both will be members of the firm's Business Litigation Practice.

Lagomasino joins Hinshaw from Carlton Fields Jorden Burt in Miami, where she was a shareholder. With 28 years of experience, her litigation practice focuses on the defense of individual and group life, health and disability claims, including ERISA, first party claims, and commercial litigation. Lagomasino vice-chairs DRI's Life, Health and Disability/ERISA Committee and is a frequent speaker at this and other industry organizations. She also is active in the South Florida community, where she serves on the boards of both the Deering Estate Foundation and the Dade Heritage Trust, and is a member of the United Way Women's Leadership Circle. Lagomasino earned her J.D. from the University of Florida's Fredric G. Levin College of Law and her B.B.A., cum laude, from Loyola University New Orleans.

Greenberg also joins Hinshaw from Carlton Fields Jorden Burt in Miami, where he was a shareholder. A seasoned trial and appellate litigator whose legal career spans 34 years, he focuses his practice on counseling, alternative dispute resolution and litigation of life, health and disability insurance-related matters arising under ERISA, group and individual policies, and contractual disputes. Greenberg is active in several organizations, including DRI and its Life, Health and Disability/ERISA Committee. He earned his J.D. from the University of Florida's Fredric G. Levin College of Law and his B.A., cum laude, from Harvard University.
