Kristen Perkins and Maria Quintero to Speak at CLM Annual Conference

Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP partners Kristen Perkins and Maria Quintero will present at CLM's Annual Conference to be held in Nashville, Tennessee on March 29-31, 2017. Ms. Perkins' presentation is titled "Employment Law Update – What Happened in the Past Year and What Lies Ahead." Ms. Quintero's presentation is titled "The Hapless Insured – Seriously, Do I Have to Intervene?" Both sessions begin at 10:25 a.m. on March 31 2017.

Kristen Perkins focuses her practice in labor and employment law with particular emphasis on matters involving the defense of federal and state law employment claims. Ms. Perkins also devotes a substantial portion of her practice on insurance coverage, representing insurance carriers with respect to issues related to professional liability policies, including employment practices liability, directors and officers, fiduciary, errors and omissions and crime policies. Ms. Perkins has substantial experience in litigation management, the analysis of complex claims, and electronic discovery.

Maria Quintero handles complex insurance disputes involving a broad range of insurance coverages including property, cyber, environmental, employment, commercial general and professional liability. She devotes her practice to assisting clients with all facets of insurance law including negotiation, litigation, coverage opinions, policy drafting and extra-contractual disputes. Ms. Quintero also handles insurance agent and broker liability claims. She develops training on industry best practices and is experienced with both bench and jury trials and with appellate court argument. Ms. Quintero is a frequent commentator, presenter and writer on emerging industry issues and technology.
