Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP partner, and member of the Lawyers for the Profession® group, Thomas P. McGarry was recently quoted in the article "Court Sanctions Laywer Over Witness's Improper Comments," published by the Illinois Bar Journal.

He further says that in the case of orders in limine, lawyers should be prepared to show the witness the order, plainly discuss the topics that are off limits and identify the consequences of violating the order.
