Raylene DeWitte Grischow Discusses Attorney Professional Responsibility With the Springfield Business Journal

Raylene DeWitte Grischow was profiled in the article "Springfield Attorney to Vice-Chair Supreme Court Committee," published in the February 2017, edition of the Springfield Business Journal. The article reports on Grischow's appointment by Illinois Supreme Court Justice Rita Garman to vice chair the Illinois Supreme Court Committee on Professional Responsibility. As noted in the article, "[t]he committee studies issues of legal ethics and professional responsibility, making recommendations to the Illinois Supreme Court on how to handle such matters." In 2017, the committee will address harassment and discrimination. Said Grischow in the article, "[b]eing professional and ethical . . . goes to the core of an attorney's responsibilities."

She practices before state and federal administrative tribunals, boards and commissions, including the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the Illinois Commerce Commission, the Illinois Department of Human Rights, and the Illinois Department of Labor and state licensing authorities.

Grischow received her J.D. (1998) from Washington University and her B.S. (1994) from Illinois State University.
