Ambrose McCall Interviewed on Employment-Related and Legal Implications of Social Media Activity

Ambrose V. McCall, a partner in the Peoria, Illinois office of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, was interviewed today on Peoria’s "The Greg and Dan Show," a morning show on 1470 WMBD AM radio.

The discussion focused on social media and a recent example in which a number of individuals experienced adverse employment actions directly following their social media activities at a professional conference. Mr. McCall commented on the issues presented in this incident, as well as other hypothetical situations, including the employment-related implications of social media communications. He also discussed common misperceptions of First Amendment protections.
