Luis Colula

Luis Colula handles insurance coverage and bad faith litigation. His practice primarily involves defending bad faith lawsuits and resolving disputes related to first-party claims. Luis manages cases involving claims brought under personal and commercial policies, including theft, fire, smoke, water, hail, sand, floods, earthquakes, and other catastrophic events, as well as uninsured motorist claims.

Prior to joining Hinshaw, Luis worked at a large national firm handling insurance coverage and bad faith litigation. Before this, he also served as an insurance defense attorney where he handled all stages of litigation, including but not limited to taking and defending depositions, law and motion, and mediations. He also practiced immigration law before the Executive Office for Immigration Review and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, obtaining affirmative and defensive relief.
