Lauren Kus focuses her practice in the defense of personal injury and employment matters, including the defense of motor vehicle accident, construction, and premises liability cases. She is involved in all phases of the litigation process including research, discovery, pleadings, motions, briefs and trial.

Prior to joining Hinshaw, Lauren was a law clerk with the firm. During law school, she was a legal extern at a Chicago firm, and worked as a research assistant to Loyola Adjunct Professor Richard Devine. Lauren was also named a Summer Fellow in 2014 by the Performance Management and Budget Office of Cook County, and clerked in the Torts and Federal Civil Rights Division of the Cook County State's Attorney's Office.
