About Justyna

Justyna provides counsel to clients on matters related to international trade, cross-border transactions, and US and European business law. In particular, she assists European companies with entering the US market, through greenfield investments, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, as well as through trade.

She also focuses on European and US data privacy. Justyna has held leadership roles within the Chicago Bar Association, including serving as chair of the Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Committee and vice-chair of the Foreign and International Law Committee. In addition, she is an officer of the Advocates Society, an association of Polish-American attorneys.

Due to her dual license, Justyna is ideally positioned to assist European clients in successfully achieving their business goals related to expansion into the United States. She is internationally recognized for her experience in cross-border cases involving defamation and data privacy. Justyna has acted as an expert witness on European and Polish law and was appointed as a special master by a US federal court case related to cross-border discovery.

In her spare time, Justyna enjoys traveling, and whilst in Chicago, often visits the theater. She is also an avid reader. A certified ski instructor and former member of the Polish national junior table tennis team, Justyna has a strong background in sports. She is a devoted dog lover and the proud owner of a Shar Pei called Elvis.
