Anju Suresh represents clients in a wide range of business transactions and disputes and employment law cases. She also assists with products and premises liability matters and has counseled clients on insurance coverage and breach of contract issues. Anju's extensive litigation experience includes preparing pleadings and motions, handling all phases of discovery, taking and defending depositions, and directly examining key witnesses in jury trials.
Prior to joining Hinshaw, Anju honed her legal research, writing, and litigation skills at a personal injury firm. Anju's background further includes working in the legal department for one of America's leading retailers as a Corporate Extern. During her tenure, Anju gained a deep understanding of both legal and business issues. She drafted and reviewed a variety of contracts—including vendor and exclusivity contracts—and helped ensure the corporation was in compliance with regulations and laws across the U.S.
In her final year of law school, Anju was a certified student attorney; she primarily advised clients in eviction and rent escrow matters before the housing court. Involved in a number of activities and associations, Anju was a member of the Maynard Pirsig Moot Court and served as President of the South Asian Law Students Association.
