Jamal Perry brings almost a decade of litigation experience in various areas of law including personal injury, labor law, workers’ compensation, foreclosure, criminal law, and real estate. He utilizes his wealth of experience to tailor effective litigation strategies for his clients.

Prior to joining Hinshaw, Jamal was senior counsel at the New York City Law Department. In this role, he defended the City of New York and its client agencies in complex, high-exposure cases from commencement through resolution. His responsibilities included assessing and identifying risk/liability and proposing litigation strategies on behalf of the City and its agencies. He has extensive experience in defending claims arising out of premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, negligent supervision, and wrongful death.
