Matthew Walsh Elected to the Chicago Bar Association's Board of Managers

Walsh will also co-chair the CBA's 2022 Pro Bono Week

October 26, 2022

The U.S. law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce that partner Matthew Walsh has been elected to serve a two-year term on the Chicago Bar Association's (CBA) Board of Managers. In addition, Walsh will serve as co-chair of the Chicago Bar Foundation's 2022 Pro Bono Week, which takes place on October 24-28.

Pro Bono Week includes events for Chicago's legal community to celebrate pro bono efforts and learn more about connecting with pro bono opportunities.

"Pro bono and giving back to our community are core values of our profession and our firm for good reason," said Walsh. "It makes us better lawyers and many more people in our community are able to get legal help they need as a result. I am proud to be one of the co-chairs of this year's Pro Bono Week to celebrate all the inspiring pro bono work Chicago lawyers do throughout the year."

The CBA was founded in 1874 and is one of the oldest and most active metropolitan bar associations in the United States and consists of over 17,000 members—primarily lawyers and judges from Cook County and the State of Illinois.
