Hinshaw partner John Ryan recently was quoted by ACA International in a story that explored the potential ARM industry impact of Amy Coney Barrett joining the U.S. Supreme Court. President Trump named Barrett as his nominee to replace Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, who passed away in September.

Ryan provided the following analysis of Judge Barrett:

[Judge] Barrett applying the plain language of the TCPA should prove helpful to Facebook’s position on what constitutes an ATDS."
