July 21
Frank kicks off the conference with a presentation titled "Captivating the C-Suite: A Workshop for Senior Living Visionaries," which discusses strategies to implement long-term goals within an evolving regulatory environment.
July 22
Adam and David lead two sessions:
- "Arbitration Agreements – A New and Ever-Changing Frontier"
- A look at recent changes in Illinois law, enforceability concerns, and how to craft effective arbitration agreements for the admissions process.
- "The Power of Legal Privilege – The Long Term Care Quality Assurance Act"
- An exploration of available legal privileges for providers, required steps to assert them, and common misconceptions around confidentiality in long-term care.
July 23
Aimee and Amanda then co-present two employment-focused sessions:
- "Labor & Employment Update: What Every Senior Living Employer Needs to Know"
- Insight into 2025 state and federal employment law updates, compliance strategies, and emerging workplace trends.
- "Mental Health and the Workplace: An Employer’s Guide to Compliance"
- Guidance on navigating mental health-related legal obligations, managing accommodations, and implementing best practices.
To close the event, Adam will join the "Sheltered Care Town Hall" to discuss survey and regulatory challenges and respond to audience questions.
