Thought Leadership
Following industry trends and breaking news that impacts your business—and providing you with analysis of how this impacts you is a priority for us.
- We blog at Consumer Crossroads, and also publish a newsletter and client alerts. Our blog is our online community. We invite you to follow the conversation by subscribing at www.hinshawcfs.com.
- To assist consumer financial services lenders, servicers and investors, we have developed an interactive tracker of state regulations related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The tracker documents actions by various state regulators, along with the limits imposed by states on foreclosures, evictions, and debt collections, and allows users to click on any state to view applicable provisions.
- We also provide a 50 State Guide on Student Loan Servicing Regulations - now in its Fourth Edition - which informs readers of the laws specific to the student loan servicing industry by providing state-by-state summaries of legislation, an overview of who is impacted, the process for licensure, servicer's duties and prohibitions, and the state's enforcement powers.
