Licensing
Effective Licensing Solutions for Financial Services Companies
We provide comprehensive licensing support to financial services clients nationwide. We offer a deep understanding of the multi-state licensing requirements developed over more than twenty years helping clients successfully managing voluminous licensing portfolios; the unique requirements for sales finance, consumer lending and servicing, student lending, mortgage, and collection agency licenses; and the technical requirements of the various online licensing systems. We also maintain strong relationships with state regulators to best assist clients with all types of licensing matters.
Customized Multi-Jurisdictional Licensing Analyses: We routinely complete customer multi-jurisdictional licensing analyses to determine which licenses are required based on the client’s specific business activities, locations, and organizational structure.
Outsourced or Supplemental Licensing Assistance: We leverage our more than twenty years of experience analyzing, obtaining, and maintaining licenses to provide clients with efficient, practical advice. We obtain new licenses, renew existing licenses, and handle all types of company changes, including changes of control as well as changes of address, name, trade names, formation, and control persons. We can provide these services as a supplement to internal resources or on an outsourced basis.
Proprietary Cloud-Based Licensing Platform: We developed a proprietary, cloud-based licensing platform to assist clients in obtaining, renewing, and maintaining licenses. Our investments in technology demonstrate our commitment to providing clients with the best tools to manage risks and deliver value.
Collaborative approach: We take a collaborative approach to our engagements, working closely with clients to understand their unique needs and priorities and tailoring our approach to meet those needs.
Industry Leadership: We are actively involved in key industry organizations focused on licensing, including regular attendance at the NMLS Annual Conference & Training, American Association of Mortgage Regulators (including serving on the Industry Advisory Council), Money Transmitter Association, and North American Collection Agency Regulatory Association, among others.
