Lauren Campisi and Brian McGrath Provide Insights on Mortgage Servicing Trends at the 2026 MBA Servicing Conference
Event
Feb 17 – 18, 2026
Dallas, Texas
Hinshaw partners Lauren Campisi and Brian McGrath will present at the Mortgage Bankers Association’s (MBA) Servicing Solutions Conference and Expo in Dallas, Texas, taking place February 16-19, 2026. The event provides servicing professionals with insights and solutions to address borrower challenges, along with the opportunity to hear from speakers and network with industry peers.
On February 17th, Brian will participate in a panel titled "The State of States." As federal enforcement recedes, state regulators and courts are increasingly shaping the mortgage servicing legal landscape. Brian’s session will explore emerging trends in state-level litigation, regulatory actions, and multi-state examinations, offering guidance on how servicers can navigate fragmented oversight and evolving compliance expectations.
On February 18th, Lauren will co-present the session "Navigating Borrower Engagement; FCRA, FDCPA, and TCPA." Her panel brings together experienced legal practitioners to examine the latest litigation trends affecting borrower engagement under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). Attendees will gain insights into recent court interpretations, enforcement actions, and compliance considerations, with practical strategies for managing risk and maintaining compliant communication across all borrower interactions.
