About Aimee
Aimee counsels employers on all aspects of the employment relationship, providing tailored solutions for employee-related issues. She assists human resources professionals, managers, and in-house counsel on matters such as labor-management relations, background checks, family medical leave and disability, misclassification, employee misconduct, performance management, separation, and disciplinary measures.
Aimee also defends employers in litigation related to federal and state statutes, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and the Illinois Human Rights Act.

- Successfully negotiated a three-year labor contract for an Illinois School District covering the largest bargaining unit with over 500 certified staff.
- Led negotiations for a three-year labor contract for professional and support staff of a county elected official.
- Conducted an independent investigation for a Fortune 500 company into complaints of sexual harassment, discrimination, and retaliation.
- Led an independent investigation for an international consulting firm into complaints of sexual harassment and retaliation.
