Hinshaw & Culbertson Announces New Management Committee Roles

The U.S law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP today announced that several partners have been named to key management roles within the firm. Hinshaw has appointed to its management committee partners Aimee Delaney, Spencer Kook, Daniel Ryan, David Schultz, and Ronald Kammer. These management changes follow the recent election of Peter D. Sullivan as firm Chair.
The newly announced members of the management committee join current members which include Managing Partner Robert Shannon and partners Robert Romero and Todd Young.
Aimee Delaney, based in Chicago, serves as the leader of the firm's Labor and Employment Practice Group. She counsels employers on all aspects of the employment relationship, develops management and employee training, and represents employers in litigation matters.
Spencer Kook, partner-in-charge of Hinshaw's Los Angeles office, focuses on insurance regulatory matters and business litigation. He represents insurers before the California Department of Insurance and other governmental agencies.
Daniel "Dan" Ryan, is the leader of the firm's Business Litigation Practice Group, based out of Chicago. In his national commercial litigation practice, he represents clients in class action lawsuits, healthcare litigation, employee benefits litigation, consumer fraud matters, and employment disputes.
David Schultz, based in Chicago is the past chair of the firm's Consumer & Class Action Litigation group. He is nationally recognized for his defense of clients in consumer litigation at the trial and appellate levels and has been lead counsel in more than 200 class action lawsuits involving state and federal consumer claims.
Ronald Kammer serves as co-partner in charge of Hinshaw's Miami and Coral Gables Office and is the co-national practice leader of the firm's Insurance Services Practice Group. He has represented insurers throughout the United States in significant coverage matters and has obtained more than 100 reported decisions.
Sullivan was elected chair of Hinshaw in February and has pledged to grow the firm across its key markets and practice areas, including insurance services, professional liability, consumer financial services, and class action defense, and middle-market corporate matters. The previous chair Kevin Joseph Burke has taken a new strategic role with the firm to manage change across the firm's 21-office platform that spans 11 states and London.
