Megha Singh Elected President of the South Asian Bar Association of Arizona
The U.S. law firm Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce that associate Megha Singh has been elected President of the South Asian Bar Association of Arizona (SABA-AZ). SABA-AZ is affiliated with and is a chapter of the South Asian Bar Association of North America (SABA-NA) which is comprised of 29 chapters throughout the United States and Canada. SABA-NA seeks to strengthen the rapidly growing South Asian legal community with a recognized and trusted forum for professional growth and development.
In recognizing her position, Singh stated, "I am honored to serve as the President of SABA-AZ. In this role, my primary objectives will be to promote and celebrate the successes of South Asian law students and attorneys, to improve our fundraising efforts, increase our visibility, and build a strong support network."
Singh represents individuals and businesses in a wide variety of commercial litigation disputes involving equine law, personal injury, toxic torts, breach of contract, business dissolution, and commercial lease disputes. Singh began her legal career in Delhi, India, where she practiced law and served as a civil litigator before the Supreme Court of India, the High Court of Delhi, and as a judicial law clerk of the High Court of Delhi.
