David Levitt Elected to the Board of Managers of The Decalogue Society of Lawyers
The law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce that David Levitt has been elected to serve on the Decalogue Society of Lawyers’ Board of Managers. He was officially inducted at the organization’s 91st Annual Installation and Awards Dinner on July 31, 2025, where the Honorable Timothy Evans, Chief Judge of the Circuit Court of Cook County, administered the oath of office.
David will serve on the board for a one-year term. He has presented continuing legal education (CLE) for the Decalogue Society on topics including the First Amendment and hate speech.
A trial lawyer with over 45 years of experience, David focuses on intellectual property, insurance, and trucking. He also advises clients on data privacy compliance, including GDPR and CCPA regulations. David represents trucking companies in accident claims and is a founder of the Trucking Industry Defense Association (TIDA). At Hinshaw, he leads the intellectual property practice and is a certified mediator trained at Pepperdine University.
