Bloomberg Law Reviews Anthony Davis' ABA Presentation on Legal Ethics and Use of Artificial Intelligence by Lawyers

Hinshaw's Anthony Davis—a New York-based partner and member of the firm's Lawyers for the Profession® group—recently presented at the 44th ABA National Conference on Professional Responsibility. Reporter Helen Gunnarsson of Bloomberg provided a review of his panel presentation in an article titled "Billable Hour 'Makes No Sense' in an AI World."

Davis warned that the next generation of lawyers will have to understand how AI works. He predicted that with AI automating expertise, clients will no longer pay for a lawyer's time; instead they will pay for a lawyer's "judgment, empathy, creativity, adaptability, and emotional intelligence."
