The article discusses how a case before the New Jersey Supreme Court concerning the transfer of insurance rights to a company’s corporate successor could give carriers more leverage to challenge such assignments if the justices find the business’s complex evolution may have derailed coverage. "It seems like there are factual issues that should have been considered at more length by the Appellate Division, and maybe that’s what the Supreme Court will do," said Mr. Golub.
