John Weedon is a litigator who focuses his practice in the defense of claims in the areas of personal injury, negligent security, automobile accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice, nursing home abuse and neglect, construction litigation, and products liability.

John handles all phases of the litigation process, from inception to trial. He has defended lawsuits in both state and federal courts throughout Florida and nationwide, for both local and national clients.

Prior to joining the firm, John spent over a decade defending cases in a variety of practice areas in addition to serving as an Assistant State Attorney for the Fourth Judicial Circuit of Florida where he prosecuted crimes on behalf of the State in multiple jury trials. Thereafter, he spent time representing injured parties in personal injury trials. Accordingly, he has experience in many aspects of criminal and civil law and has represented both plaintiffs and defendants.

Personal

John lives in his hometown of Jacksonville with his family. When he's not working, he can be found enjoying the beach and the outdoors with his family, barbecuing, and avidly cheering for the Jaguars and the Gators.

Community/Civic Activities

John volunteers as a Director and General Counsel for the Housing Corporation of the Mu Chapter of Kappa Sigma Fraternity through his alma mater, Washington & Lee University.
