Hinshaw Announces Election of Seven New Partners

The U.S. law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is proud to announce the election of seven attorneys as new partners of the firm, effective July 1, 2017. Located in seven of the firm's offices throughout the U.S., the new partners reflect Hinshaw's commitment to long-term client relationships and prioritizing the client's success by providing a wide variety of sophisticated legal advice and counsel.

Yvette Boutaugh, Belleville, IL
Yvette Boutaugh is a litigator within Hinshaw's Personal Injury & Property Damage practice group. She focuses her multi-faceted practice in the areas of products liability defense, transportation liability defense, premises liability defense, personal injury defense, and other general liability matters. She represents various professionals and organizations in malpractice claims including physicians, long-term care facilities, accountants, and attorneys.
Andrew Gordon, Ft. Lauderdale, FL
Andrew Gordon is a litigator within Hinshaw's Labor & Employment practice group. He focuses his practice in the representation of management-side labor and employment matters such as defending employers against state and federal discrimination, sexual harassment, wage and hour, and retaliation claims, as well as FLSA collective actions, DOL compliance audits, whistleblower claims, and litigating non-compete/trade secret issues. He also has extensive business litigation experience, including contract disputes, business disputes, real estate litigation, banking litigation, commercial landlord/tenant disputes, and class action litigation.
Jeffrey Hoskins, Rockford, IL
Jeffrey Hoskins is a civil litigator who represents businesses, governmental entities, and individuals as plaintiffs and defendants and helps clients effectively resolve disputes involving a wide range of matters. He often represents businesses, individuals, and municipal entities in environmental and zoning law and litigation. In addition, Mr. Hoskins is experienced in handling disputes, administrative hearings, and litigation involving various land uses and also handles commercial litigation matters including, business and commercial disputes, contract law, creditors' rights, foreclosures, insurance coverage, landlord-tenant disputes, and real estate matters.
Renee Ohlendorf, San Francisco, CA
Renee Ohlendorf is a member of Hinshaw's Consumer Financial Services practice group. She represents businesses and professionals in complex commercial matters, including business torts, product liability, wrongful death, unfair competition, class actions, and professional malpractice. She is also experienced in litigating individual and class action claims involving violations of federal and state consumer protection and privacy laws, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Rosenthal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Consumer Credit Reporting Agencies Act, and the California Invasion of Privacy Act. Additionally, she has successfully defended malpractice and breach of fiduciary duty actions against attorneys, architects, engineers, medical professionals, accountants, and real estate professionals.
Adam Rucker, Los Angeles, CA
As a member of the Business Litigation practice group, Adam Rucker focuses his practice on life, health, and disability litigation for both ERISA and non-ERISA governed employee benefit plans. Such litigation includes claims for breach of fiduciary duty and bad faith. He also has significant experience in professional liability defense and claims involving the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and state and federal consumer fraud statutes.
Annie Santos, Minneapolis, MN
Annie Santos is a business law attorney and focuses her legal practice on business litigation, labor and employment, and life, health, and disability litigation for both ERISA and non-ERISA governed employee benefit plans. She represents and guides businesses, their owners, and human resource professionals in business disputes and transactions, employment-related matters, the development of organizational documents, and provides counsel in contract and real estate matters.
John Weedon, Jacksonville, FL
John Weedon is a litigator within Hinshaw's Personal Injury & Property Damage practice group. He focuses his practice in the defense of claims in the areas of personal injury, negligent security, automobile accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice, nursing home abuse and neglect, construction litigation, and product liability. He handles all phases of the litigation process and has defended lawsuits in state and federal courts throughout Florida, South Carolina, and nationwide for both local and national clients.
