The U.S. law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce that Hinshaw partner John Weedon has been re-elected unopposed to serve another two-year term on the Jacksonville Bar Association Board of Governors. The Board of Governors includes thirteen attorneys and will guide the Jacksonville Bar Association (JBA) in the 2022-2023 Bar year.
Weedon also recently appeared on the JBA podcast JaxBar to discuss his journey as an attorney, his personal connection to Jacksonville, and why he values his involvement in JBA. He highlighted the comradery and network-building that JBA fosters, which he said allows him to connect with colleagues across various legal practice areas.
Weedon's practice focuses on the defense of claims in the areas of personal injury, negligent security, automobile accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice, nursing home abuse and neglect, construction litigation, and product liability. He has served on JBA's Board of Governors since 2021 and previously served on JBA's Young Lawyers Section Board of Governors from 2015-2019.
