Daniel McGrath Re-Elected Senior Director of the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel

Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce that Chicago partner Daniel (“Dan”) McGrath has been re-elected to serve as a Senior Director of the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel (FDCC) for the 2026–2027 term. He will also serve on the Executive Committee during this same term.

Dan was inducted alongside fellow officers and directors during the FDCC’s 2026 Annual Meeting, which took place in Lisbon, Portugal, from July 28 to August 1. He also presented a plenary session on the topic, “Big Food Under Fire: The Battle for America’s Health,” during the Annual Meeting. Learn more about the presentation here.

Legal Practice

Dan has more than 30 years of litigation experience representing manufacturers, distributors, and service providers in product liability, medical device, and commercial litigation matters.

He has defended clients in mass torts, multidistrict litigation, and class actions across 13 states, handling cases involving medical devices, machinery, chemicals, and consumer products. He has tried multiple cases to verdict.
