Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP recently represented Epic Realty Partners, a Chicago-area industrial real estate brokerage firm, in its sale to Transwestern, a national, corporate real estate services company. The transaction makes Transwestern one of the top five industrial real estate service providers in Chicago, the second largest U.S. industrial market. Epic Realty Partners specializes in the leasing, sale, management and development of warehouse, distribution and manufacturing facilities to corporate tenants, as well as institutional and individual property owners. The newly acquired, 26-person industrial brokerage team will operate from its offices in Rosemont, Illinois. With this transaction, Hinshaw's client, Epic, was able to achieve its primary goal of strategically partnering with an established, well-respected company that provides a full platform of advisory and transactional services to its real estate clients.
Partner Anthony J. Jacob led the Mergers & Acquisitions legal team, with help from partner John W. Dubbs III.
