Megan Lopp Mathias Shares Insights on Taking an “Innovative Approach to Law” on the Experts Speak Podcast

Hinshaw partner Megan Lopp Mathias was recently a featured guest on the Experts Speak podcast, hosted by Michael DeLon, president of Paperback Expert. In the conversation, Megan explained her proactive approach to providing legal counsel to her business clients.

Megan emphasized the importance of finding a lawyer who fits your business culture and understands the unique needs of entrepreneurs. She noted that her role goes far beyond litigation, describing herself as a proactive partner who helps clients with “the business of the business.” Megan said she encourages clients to think of her as their Chief Operating Officer—someone who is invested in their growth and will help them anticipate challenges and work alongside them to prevent issues before they arise.

Additionally, Megan described how she regularly hosts lunch-and-learn sessions for C-suite executives, ensuring they are well-informed and empowered to make strategic decisions for their organizations.
