About Megan
Megan represents middle-market businesses and Fortune 1000 companies in legal and operational matters, including internal investigations, risk management, transactions, and international growth strategies. She has deep experience in shareholder, restrictive covenant, high-asset family law, and trade secret litigation, and helps companies grow from start-up and financing to going public.
Previously, a founding partner of a boutique firm, Megan continues to advise women and minority-owned businesses and executives. With over 20 years as outside counsel, she works seamlessly with C-suite teams to provide legal, compliance, risk management, and operational support.

- Obtained a favorable income tax litigation judgment of $37 million on behalf of Hinshaw’s client.
- Defeated a $25 million maintenance claim in a Chicago, Illinois, collar county.
- Defeated a claim for age discrimination on summary judgment in federal court.
- Represented a woman-owned contractor in litigation, resulting in a judgment in Hinshaw’s client’s favor.
- Represented women executives in complex executive compensation negotiations and agreements.
- Represented women-owned businesses in multimillion-dollar mergers and acquisitions.
