Hinshaw is proud to serve as a sponsor of the 2026 Lavender Law Conference & Career Fair, taking place July 13–15 in Chicago, Illinois. This annual event brings together attorneys, judges, corporate counsel, government officials, law students, and legal professionals from across the country to explore legal issues affecting the LGBTQ+ community through educational programming, professional development, and networking opportunities.

Hinshaw Presenters and Attendees

Hinshaw attorney Ali Degan will present on the panel, “Out, Proud, & Prepared: Building an Authentic and Successful Legal Career,” on July 13 from 3:45–5:15 p.m. Partner Connie Montoya will also speak on a panel titled “Where Marriage Equality is Not Legal in America: The Legacy of the Insular Cases,” on July 14 from 10:30–11:45 a.m.

In addition, several other firm attorneys and professionals will attend the conference, including Hinshaw partner and LAGBAC President Vincent Rizzo, partner Kevin Manganaro, associate Glen Hisani, and Chief Talent Officer Lauren Symington.

Hinshaw Hosts Rooftop Celebration

Hinshaw is looking forward to hosting the Lavender Law Rooftop Celebration, presented by LAGBAC, Chicago’s LGBTQ+ Bar Association, on July 15 from 5:30–8:00 pm at our Chicago office rooftop venue. The event offers attendees the opportunity to connect with colleagues and peers while celebrating the conclusion of this year’s conference.
