About Helen
With more than a decade of experience, Helen represents financial services clients in litigation across California and Texas, defending creditors, mortgage servicers, and lenders in state and federal courts, managing motion practice, settlement negotiations, and discovery.
Helen’s practice covers federal and state consumer protection laws, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA), California Consumer Credit Reporting Agencies Act (CCCRAA), California Rosenthal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (Rosenthal FDCPA), and California Homeowner Bill of Rights (HBOR).
Based in Dallas, Helen also works remotely with the firm’s California offices.
Previously, Helen served as regional outside counsel for a national bank, overseeing litigation strategy and managing outside counsel in foreclosure lawsuits.
