Ronald L. Kammer and Pedro E. Hernandez to Speak at the Insurance in the Construction Industry Conference

Ronald L. Kammer, a Miami-based Partner and Co-Chair of the Insurance & Reinsurance Services Practice Group at Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, will present as part of a panel, "OCIPS, CCIPS, WRAPS, Subguard, and Non-Traditional Insurance." Pedro E. Hernandez will present the following day as part of a panel, "Duty to Defend." Ronald Kammer focuses on the representation of insurers nationally. He has been involved in many significant third party coverage disputes including cases that interpreted an insurance company’s duty to defend and indemnify, breach of policy conditions, claims involving bad faith and unfair and deceptive trade practices, as well as coverage obligations for construction defect, pollution, trademark and patent infringement claims.

Pedro Hernandez focuses his practice in the areas of insurance coverage litigation, commercial litigation, and construction litigation law. In addition, Mr. Hernandez represents insurers in commercial class actions in multidistrict litigation courts throughout the country. He has defended various carriers in MDL 2047 pertaining to Chinese drywall products liability litigation. Mr. Hernandez has tried several cases through verdict.
