Thomas R. Schrimpf

In his environmental practice, Tom represents parties in toxic tort cases involving chemicals, pesticides, herbicides, and pollutants, including cases of contaminated soil, surface, and groundwater.

In his appeals practice, Tom defends judgment enforcement in state, federal, and appellate courts, handling a significant case volume.

Additionally, Tom advises and represents employers in employment-related issues and claims arising out of Title VII, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and Wisconsin’s Fair Employment Laws. He has tried and resolved cases pending before the State of Wisconsin Equal Rights Division, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), and state and federal courts. Tom counsels insurers on interpreting insurance coverage for employment-related claims under commercial general liability (CGL), personal injury liability, and employment errors or omissions liability policies.

Tom is a former member of the firm's Executive Committee.
