Hinshaw partner Tom Kuzmanovic joined a legal edition of the Political Power Hour show on 620 WTMJ with former Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Janine Geske to review various legal developments, including the Trump v. United States classified documents case and international law tribunals.

Hinshaw partner April Toy served as a contributing author for a book, published by The Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement (HACE) titled LEGACY: Women of HACE & 40 Stories of Impact. The book tells the personal stories of 40 alumnae from the Mujeres de HACE Women’s Leadership Program, which started in 2008. The alumnae discuss how HACE has impacted them and how they have shared that impact with the world.

Jane Schlicht and Kyle Fonjemie will participate in the State Bar of Wisconsin's "Complex Commercial Contracts: The Legal Principles You Need to Know for Effective Drafting" CLE on January 13, 2023. Schlicht will serve as program chair and moderator. Fonjemie will present "Drafting Remedy Clauses for Breach of Confidentiality Obligations in Commercial Contracts: Prevention, Cessation, and Compensation."

Hinshaw's Russell Klingaman will present a session titled "Separate Business Entity Legal Issues: Recognizing and Avoiding FAA Regulatory Traps" on October 19, 2022. Business entities that exist solely to own and operate aircraft (i.e., LLCs or corporations) are generally considered commercial operators by the FAA. Commercial operators must possess FAA FAR Part 135 certificates if they have operational control when their aircraft are used as non-scheduled commercial transportation for any affiliated individuals and/or companies—"corporate flight department trap."

Hinshaw partners Alyssa Johnson and Kate Schnake will participate in a presentation on July 28, 2021, titled, "Legal Ethics: Handling Difficult Client Dilemmas." Presented by the National Business Institute (NBI), the program will address how lawyers can prevent and address client-related ethical dilemmas involving client communications, disputes, and deceitful clients.

Presented by the State Bar of Wisconsin, the virtual event will provide attendees with a variety of drafting-related insights.
