The panelists will argue in favor of their jurisdiction based on various elements, including the latest developments in international arbitration, arbitration-friendly laws, neutrality, court support, challenging awards, digital arbitration, cost, and logistics. Following the panel discussion, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in an interactive discussion.

New York-based attorney Mohamed Sweify will participate in a panel discussion titled "The Role of Arbitral Institutions and the Future of Ad Hoc Arbitration in Africa" at the 2023 Global Conference: Africa Arbitration Day on December 8, 2023. The panel will focus on the challenges faced by African arbitral institutions, propose solutions, and address why ad hoc arbitration is preferred in some African jurisdictions.
