New York-based attorney Mohamed Sweify will participate in a panel discussion titled "The Role of Arbitral Institutions and the Future of Ad Hoc Arbitration in Africa" at the 2023 Global Conference: Africa Arbitration Day on December 8, 2023. The panel will focus on the challenges faced by African arbitral institutions, propose solutions, and address why ad hoc arbitration is preferred in some African jurisdictions.
The conference is organized by the International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution and co-hosted by the New York City Bar Association in partnership with committees of the NYC Bar:

- International Law Committee
