D.L. Morriss and Mohamed F. Sweify Present at the NYSBA International Arbitration Conference in Hamburg, Germany

Attorneys D.L. Morriss, Senior Vice Chair and Co-DEI Officer of the New York State Bar Association's (NYSBA) International Section, and Mohamed F. Sweify, chair of the Egypt Chapter of the NYSBA's International Section, and past chair of NYSBA’s International Dispute Resolution Committee, will travel to Hamburg, Germany, to present at the International Arbitration Conference on October 15, 2025. Both attorneys serve on the conference Steering Committee.
D.L. will participate and co-moderate "A Comparative Approach to The Rule of Law as it Relates to Judicial Independence, Client Representation and Talent Management." The panel will discuss executive directives, judicial impartiality, and their effects on global business.
Mohamed will co-chair a panel entitled "International Commercial Arbitration and the Rule of Law: Perspectives from Around the World." The panel will assess recent developments in cross-border dispute resolution, the adaptive nature of arbitration to shifting economic conditions, and the cross-cultural practice insights from diverse jurisdictions and their impact on the evolving concept of the Rule of Law.
