Hinshaw's Steve Moore and Keti Mebuke authored a Law360 expert analysis titled "COVID-19 Triage Rules Raise Dilemmas For Health Providers." In the article, they discuss COVID-19 triage guidelines being adopted by hospitals and states across the U.S. that have come under scrutiny because of the legal and ethical challenges they pose for health care providers.

Steve Moore—a Chicago-based partner and leader of the National Health Care Group at Hinshaw—was quoted in an article published by Cook County Record titled, "Illinois courts review hospital tax exemptions, with millions in tax revenue, viability in the balance." The article addresses the ongoing issue about which Illinois hospitals networks and healthcare provider groups should pay property taxes.

Steve Moore—a Chicago-based partner and leader of the National Health Care Group at Hinshaw—was quoted in an article by Cook County Record titled, "Illinois Supreme Court to Decide if Hospitals Will Have to Pay Property Taxes." The article discusses the recent decision by the Illinois Supreme Court to hear arguments about whether hospitals should be exempted from paying property taxes under a bill signed into law in 2012. The Court had previously declined to rule on the issue in the Carle Foundation v. Cunningham Township case earlier this year.

Hinshaw partners Roy Bossen and Stephen Moore are scheduled to participate in four separate presentations during the 2023 Illinois Critical Access Hospital Network's (ICAHN) Annual Conference on November 29, 2023, in Champaign, Illinois.
