Hinshaw Announces Selection of Vincent Rizzo and Jessica Turner to 2022 Fellowship Class and Pathfinder Program of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity

The U.S. law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is delighted to announce that Vincent Rizzo, a partner in the firm's Chicago office, has been selected to the 2022 Class of Fellows of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD). Hinshaw also announced that Fort Lauderdale-based associate Jessica Turner has been selected to participate in the 2021 LCLD Pathfinders Program. In total, 426 Fellows and 433 Pathfinders were named to the 2022 class.

LCLD was established to improve the legal profession's diversity and inclusion performance. LCLD members include managing partners of prominent U.S. law firms as well as the general counsel of major corporations. LCLD Fellows and Pathfinders are two of the "most comprehensive legal talent development programs in the country."

As a Fellow, Rizzo will participate in virtual and in-person class meetings, interact with key legal and business leaders of large U.S. corporations, and attend leadership lunches hosted by LCLD Member organizations. As a Pathfinder, Turner will be given access to practical tools for developing and leveraging internal professional networks, foundational leadership skills, and an understanding of career development strategies.

Rizzo represents private and public entities in litigation involving employment disputes, tort defense, and constitutional violations. His clients include Fortune 500 companies, school districts, and other state and local governmental entities. He has extensive experience litigating Title VII, Section 1983, ADA, FMLA, personal injury, and property damage claims, including successfully trying numerous civil jury trials to defense verdict and obtaining multiple summary judgments.

Turner is a labor and employment attorney who represents employers in litigation matters, including the defense of claims arising under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the Fair Labor Standards Act. She is the current co-editor of the firm's Employment Law Observer blog.
