Litigation Attorney Heather Calhoon Joins Hinshaw’s Miami Office as a Partner
She brings extensive experience in complex civil defense litigation.

The U.S. law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce that it has boosted its Business Litigation practice group with the addition of complex civil defense litigation attorney Heather M. Calhoon as a partner in the firm’s Miami office.
“Hinshaw is pleased to welcome Heather and ensure that she takes full advantage of Hinshaw’s national platform, practice support, and other growth synergies,” said Steven D. Lehner, co-chair of Hinshaw's Business Litigation Practice Group and partner-in-charge of the firm’s Tampa office. “Our existing clients in Florida and across the U.S. will benefit greatly from Heather’s experience in severe catastrophic injuries, including traumatic brain injuries and wrongful death.”
Prior to joining Hinshaw, Heather was a partner with Weinberg, Wheeler, Hudgins, Gunn & Dial’s Miami office.
Heather’s practice focuses on complex civil defense litigation with an emphasis on premises liability, catastrophic injury and wrongful death, dram shop, professional liability, and transportation claims. She possesses an AV® Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell and was selected as a Rising Star in Civil Litigation Defense by Florida Super Lawyers in 2010. Heather is admitted in Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida. She holds a J.D. from Seattle University School of Law and a B.A. from the University of California, Irvine.
